OASIQ Brings Modern Elegance to Outdoor Living in the 2024 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse September 27–November 3, 2024Brooklyn, NY (September, 2024) — OASIQ, the modern outdoor furniture company dedicated to enriching the alfresco living experience, is thrilled to announce its furniture was chosen to outfit the backyard of the highly-anticipated fourth biennial Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse. Set in a stunning Greek
Revival Townhouse located at 182 Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights, the showhouse will offer design enthusiasts a rare opportunity to tour a historic home
in one of Brooklyn’s most storied neighborhoods—with each room reimagined by one of more than 16 sought-after designers. Hosted by The Brooklyn Heights
Association (BHA), the celebrated event will run from September 27–November 3, 2024.“We’re excited to be a part of the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse,” says Tony Peng, Managing Director, OASIQ. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to support the
BHA—an advocacy group that has played a pivotal role in preserving the neighborhood’s stunning architecture and establishing the iconic Brooklyn
Heights Promenade, among other achievements. At the same time, we’re deeply inspired by the creativity of the participating designers as they reimagine a
townhouse steeped in history. We’re especially delighted that Lauren Barry of Project Plant selected OASIQ products for her design—a backyard she's
beautifully transformed into a serene oasis.”"Our studio, Project Plant, has been caring for this backyard for twelve years," shares Lauren Barry, Principal of Plant Project. “We’ve waited a long time to
reimagine this space! Our new design expands the planting beds and introduces subtle grade changes to create dimension. We couldn’t be more excited to use
OASIQ’s stunning furniture to adorn our garden patios. I was first drawn to the Hamilton loveseat and lounge chair — particularly the style, durability and
timelessness. I quickly curated other pieces around that pairing. I was thrilled that OASIQ offered a glass top coffee table which provides lightness and transparency, crucial elements in designing a small space. I love that you can see our limestone paving through the coffee table. Given we are in Brooklyn and most of our clients are urban dwellers, I selected pieces suitable for smaller areas, ones that people could easily imagine in their own homes.”182 Clinton Street is located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights—along a row of homes known as “Doctor’s Row,” a moniker assigned due to a group of medical
practitioners taking up residence in the homes in the mid-19th century. The showhouse is co-chaired by design luminaries Ellen Hamilton and Erika Belsey
Worth, with acclaimed interior designer Leyden Lewis as Honorary Chair. Proceeds will benefit the BHA.
